Inside Sales Rep:

The role of Inside Sales Representative is to generate demand by contacting prospective customers, and responding to potential leads from various grower meetings, website inquiries and marketing initiatives. The desired result is scheduling appointments with growers to build the sales pipeline for the account managers. This role will be based in Memphis, TN.

Marketplace Bid Facilitator

Indigo Marketplace is helping to transform the agriculture industry, by allowing farmers a new way to market their grain.  Marketplace Bid Facilitators work with growers to ensure they are able to transact on buyer bids and maximize their profitability.  The successful candidate will combine a knowledge of commodities markets with a passion for helping growers identify sources of value for their crop.

This position will span a nine-hour period between the hours of 6:00am to 8:00pm, with preference to a later shift

Outcomes:

  • Complete a pre-determined number of outreach phone calls per day, with the goal of successfully completing Marketplace Transactions
  • Build and develop relationships with grower customers in a given geography, by understanding their crop, their needs, and their surrounding environmental factors
  • Work with Buyer Account Managers to understand the nuances of Marketplace bids; for example, feedlots looking for specific corn protein profiles to output premium dairy products
  • Follow the commodities markets, weather patterns, and local basis patterns, so as to make educated and informed outreach phone calls
  • Facilitate customer technology use of the Marketplace platform, including assisting customers in setting up profiles, user-acceptance trainings, and regular check-ins.
  • Understand individual grower crop profiles and provide appropriate feedback to buyer teams, with the goal of creating additional value beyond price alone
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to see transactions through to complete delivery at buyer
  • Stay abreast of new developments within Indigo Marketplace and integrate them into conversations with growers.
  • Ensure positive customer experience throughout every interaction
  • Create and send grower contracts via DocuSign
  • Work closely with buyer teams to provide market feedback

Transportation Coordinator

The Transportation Coordinator position will support tactical freight execution activities for all Indigo crops and will interact directly with key internal and external stakeholders. A natural curiosity, drive for continuous improvement, and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are required.

Outcomes:

  • Successfully manage 50+ loads per day
  • Resolve shipment issues within 24 hours
  • Develop relationships with logistics suppliers and customers for seamless execution of daily shipments
  • Achieve 99% OTD (on time delivery) for all shipments per plan for committed shipments to customers
  • Support Logistics Supervisors for reports and issue resolution same day
  • Play an active role in process improvement by providing recommendations
  • Serve as the source of truth for all areas of responsibilities
  • Understands and embodies Indigo’s purpose and core values

  • Minimum of 2 years of Logistics experience
  • Associate Degree with relevant experience of 2+ years; or a Bachelor degree
  • Working knowledge of transportation industry regulatory bodies and requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with DOT regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience managing multiple 3PL accounts
  • Knowledge of FSMA a plus
  • Experience with truck, rail and freight modes
  • Lives in Memphis, TN (preferred)

Grower Customer Service Representative 

Indigo’s Grower Customer Service Representatives provide a seamless, one-stop customer service experience to Indigo’s US growers. Indigo views growers as true partners, and GCS representatives make them feel as such by handling all inbound and outbound communication with a proactive, professional, and patient approach. GCS core responsibilities include Customer Experience, Data Collection, Logistics, Issue Resolution, and Inbound Sales.

Outcomes & Responsibilities:
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of each Indigo grower contract, with the ability to relate details to growers and answer any questions growers may have
• Proactively communicates with Indigo grower customers to ensure their experience with Indigo is positive
• Manages collection and coordination of inbound customer documentation, including but not limited to FSA Forms, BCI Compliance forms, and Harvest Notification forms
• Serves as point of contact between Growers and other functions of the Indigo organization, and close feedback loop as needed
