Memphis Honors Renowned Bluesman with New Statue

Memphis is proud of our musical heritage, and rightfully so. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of a team of Memphis leaders (including New Memphis LDI grad Kevin Kane, president of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau), a statue of legendary bluesman Bobby “Blue” Bland now graces the corner of South Main and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
