As Programs Manager, Nikki supports program cohorts and corporate training as well as plans and coordinates logistics for Alumni events and meetings. As a native Memphian and first-gen, Nikki is influenced by her parents’ community involvement. Whether they were supporting the growing Indian community or raising funds for the National Civil Rights Museum, Nikki saw firsthand the impact of nonprofit service and developed a passion for Memphis-centric organizations.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Tennessee, Nikki worked at the Memphis Cook Convention Center where she drove tourism growth in the core. She later moved to Washington DC to complete a Masters in Arts Administration from Goucher College. While living in DC, Nikki continued to follow the rapid development in Memphis and soon returned. She comes to New Memphis from the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art where she managed special event operations for the state’s oldest and largest art museum.
