New Memphis Grads Leading in the Community

New Memphis grads are leading in every corner of our community, and we’re proud to see the Chamber’s Chairman’s Circle is full of our alumni. These business leaders also have a passion for and commitment to building a better future for our city.

The Chairman’s Circle “engages Memphis business leaders on issues that affect Memphis and the Mid-South. The Chairman’s Circle’s 100+ members represent more than 100,000+ employees in the Memphis business community.”

According to the Memphis Daily News, the founding members of the Chairman’s Circle have voted to restructure its leadership.

The original co-chairs are almost all LDI grads – as are the newly elected chairmen and co-chairs.

Congratulations to Daphne Large (Data Facts, Inc.), Andy Cates (Colliers International), and Robin Smithwick (Diversified Trust) for being elected to two-year terms as co-chairs. Congratulations also to Duncan Williams (Duncan Williams, Inc.), Jason Hood (Sedgwick Claims Management Services), and David Waddell (Waddell & Associates), who were elected to a one-year terms as co-chairs. These leaders join a leadership structure already full of LDI grads, including Gary Shorb, Calvin Anderson, Carolyn Hardy, Spence Wilson Jr., Leigh Shockey, and Jason Hood.
