You are invited to kick off your summer experience in Memphis in style as you'll learn what's happening in the city throughout the summer while mingling with other young professionals. Enjoy free food and drinks while being welcomed by Memphis business leaders and community movers and shakers.

College students and interns are invited to join us in Overton Park for an evening of music and fun! All can enjoy this historically significant music venue right in the heart of the Bluff City while also connecting with New Memphis alumni.

Memphis 101 is a high-energy course offering an up-close view into Memphis, its people, music, culture, politics, and more. Throughout the presentation, we'll dive into over 200 reasons to fall in love with Memphis as we acknowledge why Memphis is the place it is today and how our history impacts where we are headed. Throughout the evening you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame, network with both new and longtime Memphians, and learn more about the real story of Memphis and its dramatic place in American history not found in history books. Thanks to Regional One Health for powering this event! Dinner is provided. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is strongly encouraged to avoid lines at check-in. Feel free to invite friends – these events are fun and relevant for newcomers and longtime Memphians alike.
