Contact: Jamie Boller
As Community Engagement Manager, Jamie (she/hers) supports the engagement of the ever-growing New Memphis program alumni community and energizes partnerships with local organizations. She also leads the "Celebrate Your City" Initiative, which fosters Memphis pride and drives advocacy to help move our city forward.
As a native Memphian, Jamie is thrilled that she can work with New Memphis to support and celebrate the city that raised her. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Theatre and English, Jamie returned to her hometown to work for The Orpheum Theatre Group. She later left the city to serve as the Company Manager (and Actor/Teaching Artist/Electrician) for Tour 70 of The National Players, an educational touring theatre company based out of Maryland's Olney Theatre Center. After touring the nation for a year, Jamie spent some time living in Washington, DC, working for the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP). Before moving back to Memphis, she most recently served as the Associate Director of Development for The National Theatre Foundation in DC.
When she isn't at work, you can catch Jamie directing plays or performing in them on local stages. She is also a notorious book fiend and enjoys finding a cozy spot to read with her partner Hugh and their two cats, Archie and Woolf.
