Who participates in the LDI?
Designed for experienced leaders at the executive level, each class consists of approximately 25 individuals across diverse industries. Many of our more than 1,200 graduates are nominated by other graduates of the LDI program, though self-nominations are always welcome.
What are the program requirements?
Space in the LDI is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are required to be senior executives who are able to commit to full participation in the 3.5 residential day program, staying at a downtown hotel.
What will happen with my program in response to COVID-19?
Please visit the "about" section of the New Memphis website for additional information. As we navigate changing workplaces, New Memphis is still committed to providing the development you deserve.
What assessments are used in the LDI?
The Leadership Development Intensive uses innovative techniques and assessments including: MBTI (Step 2), FiRO-B, Change Style Indicator, and 360-degree evaluations of your leadership behaviors and communication style.
Where are the program sessions held?

This is a residential experience; all participants stay at a designated hotel. All 3.5 days are held at the New Memphis office in downtown Memphis (walking distance from the hotel).

What is the time commitment?
The program lasts 3.5 days. Class typically begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm; however, we encourage all participants to come to all of the breakfasts, dinners and the evening receptions with their classmates as well.
Can I participate in part of the 3.5 day LDI experience?
Unfortunately, no. Full participation by each member is key to the group's cohesiveness and crucial to the individual LDI experience. In order for you and your classmates to receive the full benefit of the program experience, we ask that you commit to the full 3.5 day session.
What is the cost of the program?
The cost of the program is $7,500 per person which includes lodging at a downtown hotel. Please note there is a non-refundable $1,000 deposit due at registration.
How can I reserve a spot in an upcoming class?
Please contact Jill Turner (jill@newmemphis.org) for more information regarding registration.
Can I talk with someone who has completed the program already?
Yes. Our leadership team, including Anna Mullins Ellis, CEO, and Jill Turner, COO are graduates of our program and are happy to speak with you or put you in touch with an LDI graduate to share about their experience. Please feel free to reach out to Jill at jill@newmemphis.org to be connected with someone.
