New Memphis Fellows Application
New Memphis Fellows Application
Fellows is the premier community-wide leadership development experience for mid-career leaders in Memphis. With a history that spans over 15 years, the year-long program is designed for high-performing professionals who are already excelling in their careers and positively impacting our community, but who are seeking to amplify that power through access to new connections, skills and experiences.
COVID-19 Protocols
Building relationships is foundational to the New Memphis leadership program experience, and we know from our past year of virtual classes that this is best done when people are meeting together in-person, where spontaneous interactions happen and trusting friendships can be forged. Because of this, our staff has worked hard to bring our programs (each class with no more than 30 people) safely back to in-person experiences. If you have questions please email
info@newmemphis.org
.
We require all New Memphis program participants, staff and facilitators to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 before the first day of class OR submit a negative COVID-19 test before every New Memphis class or event.
We require all participants to stay home if they are unwell (and alert your program lead, like you would for any absence) and to notify their program lead of any exposure to or confirmed case of COVID-19.
Masks are currently required for indoor program classes and events (aside from specific times when participants are eating or drinking). Masks will be required
until further notice. New Memphis staff will evaluate based on health officials’ recommendations.
While masks will be required indoors, masks are strongly encouraged for outdoor program events and gatherings.
New Memphis always follows any venue-specific rules when program participants are visiting off-site locations and will alert attendees in advance of those rules.

Administrative Fee
The true cost of this yearlong experience is $7,000. However, New Memphis receives generous support from corporations, foundations and individuals to significantly offset that cost, safeguarding a level playing field.
Fellows pay a $1,200 administrative fee
to help ensure a top quality experience. This fee can be paid over time, and a range of payment options are available. Unquestionably, the value of the experience far exceeds the fee.
We request that Fellows pay a quarter of their fee ($300) to guarantee their spot when they are notified of their acceptance to the program. At that time, payment options for the remainder of the fee can be arranged.
Commitment to 100% Participation
Full participation of each member of the Fellows class is key to the group's cohesiveness and crucial to the individual Fellows' experience. As such, attendance at every session over the next 12 months of training is mandatory. If any of the session dates present a conflict, we encourage you to consider applying at a later time.
Note: April cohort sessions are primarily in the evenings, whereas September cohort sessions are held mostly during the day.
Please initial here to indicate your commitment to 100% participation.
Please select your class preference:
April - primarily evening meeting times (click

September - primarily morning meeting times (click
